2025.12.29
Organised by INBC Global, the 9th “Waste Management & Waste-to-Energy Asia Summit 2025 – Focus on Indonesia” opened with grandeur in Jakarta on 3rd. December. Chairman and Sales Director of HEPT were invited to attend.
The summit brought together more than 400 global experts and was honoured by the presence of Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment, the sovereign wealth fund Danantara, the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Industry, state utility PT PLN (Persero), the Environmental Agency of Surakarta, and the Environment & Health Office of Denpasar-Bali. Under the theme of converting municipal solid waste into reliable clean energy, speakers shared cutting-edge developments in waste-to-energy (WtE) and refuse-derived fuel (RDF), discussing innovative thermal conversion, advanced sorting and high-efficiency combustion technologies. Officials from Indonesia’s Ministry of Environment outlined national implementation measures and success stories.
Adhering to the philosophy of “Technology Empowerment, Solving Real Pain Points”, HEPT showcased its high-performance core equipment and industry-leading manufacturing technologies. The company also clarified its international strategy: deepen and broaden cooperation with top global partners, accelerate worldwide deployment of technical achievements, and—through local teams and brand building—expand market presence in Europe, the United States and Southeast Asia, helping Chinese environmental standards gain global recognition.
HEPT remains committed to open innovation, continuously integrating and deepening international advanced technologies to build a full-chain system of R&D, design and manufacturing, constantly upgrading its own R&D capabilities and production processes. With decades of focus on environmental equipment, the company provides high-precision, high-stability manufacturing services to global benchmarks such as GEA (Germany), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Japan), Luehr Group and LAWI (Germany), V?lund, Ebara, Grandblue, China Sciences HK, Shanghai Environment Group and Dynagreen, winning worldwide recognition for craftsmanship and reliability. To date, HEPT has delivered benchmark grate, flue-gas cleaning and auxiliary projects across the globe, including sites in Thailand (Maha Sarakham, Sa Kaeo, Chai Nat) and Indonesia (Palembang), as well as domestic locations such as Nanhai-Foshan (Guangdong), Zhuozi (Inner Mongolia), Changning (Hunan) and Guangyuan (Sichuan). The company has participated in more than 300 waste-to-energy plants worldwide, with over 500 flue-gas cleaning systems already in operation or completed, covering 31+ regions at home and abroad. These projects demonstrate strong technology integration and large-scale manufacturing capabilities, setting local benchmarks for green-energy excellence through meticulous engineering quality.
On 5th. December, HEPT joined delegates on technical tours of PT CIKARANG LISTRINDO’s biomass co-firing power plant, which seamlessly blends palm-kernel shells and other biomass into a coal-fired system, showcasing a viable decarbonisation pathway for conventional generation. The group also visited the Bantar Gebang landfill in Bekasi—one of Southeast Asia’s largest—where a demonstration waste-to-energy plant and RDF production facility are transforming the site into a resource-recovery hub.
